A little about the doctor

Hello! My name is Ewa Cissik. I’m a veterinarian and have been practicing general medicine on dogs and cats since May of 2000. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. It was an intense 4 years of my life, but it led me to having the best job! It’s not for everyone, but I absolutely love what I do! I adore my patients and I hold my clients in the deepest regard. Their love for their furbabies is what has allowed me to continue to help them take the best care of their furry loved ones that they can.

The longer I practice, the more insights I have to share with my clients in how they can best care for their furry family members. I don’t specialize in any specific area of veterinary medicine, but have been fortunate to work in a setting that has pushed me to expand my knowledge on a constant basis and I want to share it with you. You can find a little bit about raising, caring, and training your dogs and cats on this site. Occasionally, I’ll share some basic tips in treating disease conditions, but these are so individualized to every pet that you should discuss actual care of your pet with your veterinarian.

I hope you will find some useful info and a tip that will make your life easier or more fun with your pets!

Thanks for stopping by!
Ewa Cissik, DVM
